Bugri Naabu, Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has defied the party’s order and declared provisional results in the National Delegates Congress thirty minutes before polls closed on Saturday.
The NPP’s congress which started at 7am in 275 constituencies across the country ended at 3pm.
But Bugri Naabu declared the results of Salaga North, Saboba, Gushiegu and Chereponi on Peace FM before the stipulated time.
When asked why he decided to declare the results before the stipulated time he said “you asked for results and I have given you the results so why are you asking that question.”
The following were the provisional results he gave the station.
