The Ghana Armed Forces has identified the suspect who allegedly killed one of their men and severely injured the other, on the beach road in Accra on Saturday, Citi News has gathered.

The Police Criminal Investigations Department (CID) has confirmed the arrest of the suspect, Corporal David Azalekor who is also a military officer.

According sources close to military, the suspect first knocked down one of the officers with his car, killing him instantly.

He later attacked the other with an unknown object, leaving him in a critical condition.

A joint police and military operation smoked him out later when a mechanic noticed blood stains in his car.
