Dancehall artistes Shatta Wale and Samini have not had the best of relationships and it is unlikely the pair will be sitting down for tea anytime soon after the latter appeared to mock the reigning artiste of the year about the lawsuit against him.

Events company, Charterhouse is suing the musician and is seeking damages of ten million Ghana cedis after the musician, a couple of weeks ago released series of videos online, which the company regarded as defamatory.

#Helooooooo ….Eii guys. Pls help me convert 10m gh into USD $$wai. What’s the current rate kraa ? #iskoki just #violate and get clamp

— SAMINI (@samini_dagaati) October 8, 2014

[contextly_sidebar id=”AdATrWBPkJuIACGsTDz1JGkKNavUImcl”]Samini, whose verbal squabbles with Shatta Wale have been well-publicised, took to social-networking site, Twitter, to take a dig at Shatta Wale, asking his followers to help him convert GH¢10m [the amount being demanded by Charterhouse]  into US Dollars.”

Shatta Wale’s manager, Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson aka Bulldog, replied to Samini’s tweets with a Facebook post saying : “Did I see a post by a retired musician laughing at an active musician who is fighting for the rights of all musicians. Wow!!! When we are fighting for a just cause some dumb people are laughing because they are “high” on some substance. ‪#‎funnymangosuckpito”

At least we all know there are laws to deal with such pple on society who will throw dust in pples eyes for their own selfish needs smh

Bulldog had earlier accused the media of having an agenda against his client, saying: “naturally they (the media) are interested in bringing Shatta Wale down.”

He also confirmed to Citi News that his artiste had received notice of the lawsuit but added that they had absolute confidence in their lawyers who “will do justice to whatever it is.”
