“The child was injured at the school but the school authorities are saying he was not injured. But my checks revealed that there were cuts on the mouth. The head mistress is the one I entrusted the care of my child into so if the child is dead she must be held responsible” – she fumed.

Checks by Citifmonline at the school indicate that the facility is not registered with the Ghana Education Service and lacks several basic amenities such as toilets, desks and the necessary teaching and learning materials.

A teacher at the school Faustina Nkladon dismissed the suggestions that they had a hand in the the death of the 3 year old boy.

“I was standing here the child looked pale and weak. I could not call the mother; I had to rush him to the hospital first. When I rushed the boy, the doctor asked me to come and call the mother. So I came to call the mother and sister. I don’t know why they want to formulate lies about me,” the frustrated teacher said.
