An outbreak of Cholera in the Greater Accra Region and other six regions affected over 10,ooo people leading to the death of about 120.

The President, John Mahama, the AMA, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) and other political figures have been appealing to citizens to practice good personal hygiene while keeping the environment clean to prevent the further spread of the disease.

Although the GHS has announced that the number of reported cases have reduced, there is still the need to continue with the public sensitization to put an end to the cyclical outbreak of cholera.
