All is set for the largest corporate sports gathering, the Citi Business Olympics. Come this Saturday September 20, over fifty companies will compete for trophies and bragging rights at the Burma Camp Leisure Center from 8:00am.

In its ninth year, the Citi Business Olympics brings professionals and companies from different sectors to network, compete in different disciplines and also burn some calories.

This year’s event, sponsored by Surfline Communications, Citi Investment Company and the Travel Bureau, will be the best yet – at a world class sporting facility with over twelve competitive and non-competitive games.

According to the captain of the Surfline team, they “are not coming there with anything less than what you expect. Expect something LTE, expect somethimg competitive. We are not going to give the other teams any chance to make noise. We are Surfline – it’s about time – and we are taking all the trophies to Emerald House.”

On the part of Holiday Inn Hotel, they have promised to reclaim all the trophies they lost last year.

According to their captain, “Holiday Inn is ready. Holiday Inn has been the champion for the tug-of-war for the past few year. We lost out last year because we couldn’t participate but we are winning everything this year.”

Other companies have shared stories of how they’ve been camping for the past few weeks to prepare for the big day.
