President of Policy Think Tank IMANI Ghana, Franklin Cudjoe is calling on President John Dramani Mahama to as a matter of urgency sack the National Coordinator of the Youth Enterprise Support (YES), Kojo Adu Asare.

Mr. Cudjoe says Mr. Adu Asare must be sacked for his involvement in the poor management of the Black Stars World Cup campaign in Brazil.

Mr. Adu Asare who  appeared before the Dzamefe Commission last week  over his role as the head of the Protocol and Supporters Welfare Committee has been criticized for doing a poor job.

Kojo Adu Asare

“If the gentleman who …had a simple objective of attracting corporate funds and using it for something else will be the same gentleman that will go and sit clearly on this YES  fund. I think it borders on issues of integrity. I will advise him to resign from the YES thing immediately,”said Franklin Cudjoe

He said the President’s decision to sack Mr. Adu Asare will prove his commitment to fighting corruption.

“ Infact the President should quickly push him off immediately because that would have also shown that the President is indeed serious about fighting corruption.”
