If at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try again! Abena Appiah has been crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2014 at a wellattended ceremony at the La Palm Hotel in Accra.
She beat 9 other ladies to win the coveted title of representing Ghana at the Miss Universe pageant in Brazil this December.
An emotional Abena was crowned by former First Lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings, as she broke down into tears when her name was called out as winner.
Abena is a veteran in beauty pageants, with participation in Miss Earth, Miss Ghana to name a few.
In second and third place were Bridgette and Emerald respectively
