Early arrangements have been made ahead of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), special delegates’ congress slated for Sunday August 31 in the Northern Region.

All delegates in the region will assemble at the Tamale Sports Stadium for the special polls on Sunday August 31, 2014.

Northern Regional NPP Organizer, Alhaji Abdullah Hindu said they have concluded arrangements with the Electoral Commission and the law enforcement agencies.

He said only accredited delegates will have access to the polling centre.

Alhaji Hindu warned supporters of the various flag bearer hopefuls to desist from acts which might spoil the special voting on Sunday August 31.

Alhaji Abdullah Hindu described the recent feud between some party members at the NPP’s headquarters as a wakeup call to leadership at all levels.

He urged the Paul Afoko led national leadership to unite party followers for a resounding victory in 2016.
