The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the provisional results of candidates who wrote the May/June 2014 West Africa Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Out of the 242,162 candidates who wrote the examination, 68,062 of them, representing 28.11 percent, made grades A1 to C6 in at least six subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics and are therefore eligible for admission to tertiary institutions.

The Citi Breakfast Show discussed the issue.

Its been 131 days since POTAG declared its indefinite strike.Students from the various polytechnics say the decision is affecting their academic activities.

Another section of the show centered on the poor sanitary conditions at various markets.
