The Deputy Minister in charge of Basic Education, Alex Kyeremeh says the Ministry is relying on the Inter-ministerial Advisory Committee to advise them on whether to re-open senior high schools soon or later.

The Ministry has already delayed the reopening of tertiary schools by two weeks to prevent an outbreak of the Ebola disease in the country.

The Ministry is however yet to decide on whether to delay the reopening date of the senior high schools.

Speaking to Citi News, Mr. Kyeremeh expressed the Ministry’s willingness to abide by suggestions of the Committee.

“We will monitor the situation and any advice they [Inter-ministerial Advisory Committee] will give to the Ministry of Education we will abide by that so they shouldn’t be any panic,” he said.
