As Ghana’s economy expands, the demand for offices has also seen a corresponding surge, particularly in the Greater Accra region.

To start a business in Accra requires a strategic move in selecting the location of an office space to make it easier in meeting a targeted market.

However, the cost and supply of commercial properties in Accra is affecting the demand as low cost areas in the city are congested while new developing commercial areas are abandoned.

Lawrence Segbefia takes a look at the demand for offices in Accra in the next of our series dubbed “Ghana’s Housing Crisis” which focuses on the industry’s problems and how they can be solved.
