Typing on a mobile device just got smoother, faster and more fun with the introduction of the swipeable Word Flow that comes with the all new Nokia Lumia 630.
One of the world’s leading mobile giants, Nokia has come out with the most affordable Windows 8.1 phone called the Lumia 630.
The sleek Lumia which comes in a variety of colours is the perfect device for the lower to middle income earner who wants a phone that runs the latest Windows and the latest apps.
Personally I have enjoyed not only the feel of the device in my palm but the fact that with one hand, one can maneuver and reach every corner of the phone.
The best feature that comes with the Lumia 630 for me is the new swipeable Word Flow keypad. This is particularly perfect for people who type a lot and want to be fast in doing so.
All you need to do is swipe your fingers across the keypad and your word automatically pops up with a range of other likely words similar to the one you really wanted to type.
Another interesting aspect of the Word Flow is the option to save new words which are not originally preinstalled in the phone.
A major problem most mobile phone users complain about is the battery life and clearly the Lumia 630 has a solution to that problem. A fully charged battery could run for almost 36 hours (a whole day and half of the next day) for light users i.e calls, texting and radio, use of social media etc.
However for heavy users, a fully charged battery might just last for a full day i.e playing videos, long hours of music etc. One difficulty for me though was with visibility under sunlight. Reading text messages and web pages were a clear difficulty but in media to low light areas, reading is perfect.
