President Akufo-Addo will today [Wednesday], begin a three-day tour of the Eastern Region as part of his nationwide tour.

The tour will round up the President’s nationwide working visita to all 10 regions of the country since he assumed office, having already visited nine others.

[contextly_sidebar id=”IByBImpF25QGK0F8A8wLcrTWquxw6nwk”]As part of his tour, President Akufo-Addo is expected to visit some abandoned government projects, and also assess work done on some roads, and address durbars of Chiefs and people in the region.

The tour, which will begin at Somanya, will see the President inspect the abandoned Community Day Senior High School at Oterkpolu in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.

Day two of the tour will begin with an inspection of completed works on the Nkawkaw- Atibie road in Kwahu, then an inspection of a proposed Technical College at Akyem Afosu in the New Abirem District, and a visit to the Youth Training Centre at Takorase in the Denkyembuor District.

The President will visit the Community Day Senior High School at Anum Apapam on the final day of the tour, and also inspect an Agro-Tech Ghana Limited Poultry Farm and Hatchery at Akyem Apedwa before moving to his home town, Kyebi.

The President will end his 3-day tour in Koforidua with an inspection of the abandoned Affordable Housing Project. He will also grace a Durbar of Chiefs and people of New Juaben at the Koforidua Jackson Park.
