The National Hajj Committee (NHC) has announced an extension of payment deadline of the 2014 Hajj to Wednesday August 20.
A statement signed by Ibrahim Abdul Rauf Tanko, Chairman of the Committee said the extension has become necessary due to numerous calls from potential pilgrims and in consultation with Accredited Hajj Agents Association.
It said the fare still remains $ 3450 or GH¢ 9,900 and there has been no increment as being speculated.
The Committee has therefore called on prospective pilgrims to pay the money since there would be further extension date.
Originally, the deadline for the payment was Friday August 8.
