Two persons are currently in the grips of the police over their involvement in the alleged forged passport saga of the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Nkoranza North, Eric Amoateng.
Eric Amoateng had been detained at the Nima police since Thursday night for using a lady’s passport acquired fraudulently, but has since been granted bail.
The suspects are a woman and her son (names withheld), and are suspected to have masterminded the acquisition of the alleged forged passport.
They are currently being interrogated at the Bureau of National Investigations (BNI) Headquarters.
