Parts of the ground floor of the Accra City Car Park at the central business district was gutted by fire on Wednesday.
The fire started from the Electromart shop on the ground floor of the car park.
The car park serves the workers in the area.
Citi News reporter, Betty Kankam Boadu who was at the scene said personnel from the National Fire Service managed to put out the fire but some of the home appliances in the shop were destroyed.
The workers estimate that the goods worth thousands of cedis were destroyed by the fire.
