The Institute of Human Resource and Management Practitioners (IHRMP), has organized training for some industry practitioners.
The event, a one day seminar, was held on Friday, August 25th in partnership with Petra Trust.
The seminar focused on various aspects of the Pensions Law and objectives of the Pensions Act (as amended); the role of HR in assisting staff better plan and prepare for retirement.
Others were ensuring that employees are abreast with the new Act, among others.
Facilitators for the training were Helena Poku, Commercial Director and Okyeame Sarfo, Head of Relationship Management of Petra Trust.
The seminar was on the theme, “Employee’s Retirement: The Role of the Human Resource Practitioner”.
Participants were highly impressed hence requested the seminar be held annually, as it was long overdue.
