Ledzekuku MP supports Teshie residents ahead of Homowo

The Member of Parliament for the Ledzekuku constituency, Dr. Bernard Okoe Boye last Friday donated some food items and an amount of money to his constituents ahead of the 2017 Homowo festival in Teshie.

The MP supported five clans which which included Krobo, Klemusum, Agbawe, Lenshie and Gbublah and gave them maize, palm oil and an amount of 500 dollars each.

In an interview with Citi News, Dr. Okoe Boye said he is obliged to serve his constituents in the best way he can.

“Today what I am doing is to visit all the five clans and sub houses to have an interaction with elders in the constituency who will help guide my path as a Member of Parliament they have chosen to serve them. The items I gave are used traditionally for the celebration of the festival such as the maize which is used in the preparation of Kpokpoe.”

Dr. Okoe Boye added that this initiative will be a yearly practice ” it will continue every year and i know it will get better every year.”
