Organized Labor in Ghana staged a one day strike and demonstration on Thursday July 24 in various parts of the country. The event was to protest the rising cost of living and the socio-economic hardships facing Ghanaians.
Social media – led by Twitter – had the event trending. People took to the medium to share information, including pictures and videos, about the strike, its effects and their expectations.
