After the successful first three editions, the August Worship agenda for 2014 just got bigger.
August Worship, by the Jeshurun Okyere Global Outreach is a unique event which seeks to reconnect many to God through refreshing worship.
Jeshurun Okyere is a young, versatile minister who is noted for his love for, and wonderful ministrations of Christian reggae songs.
It is therefore not surprising August Worship has been nominated for “Event of the Year” in the 2014 AFRICA GOSPEL MUSIC AWARDS (UK).
This year’s event will feature an international appearance by Nigerian Gospel Music icon and worship leader Nathaniel Bassey (the Imela Hit maker) as well as ministration from some of Ghanaian and Nigerian Worship leaders and ministers such as Uncle Ato, Ps. Chinello (Nigeria), and Akesse Brempong (The Crazy Love dude) among others.
August Worship 2014 is themed “O’JESUS; His Fame, His Presence, His Glory.”
Last year’s edition also saw the launch of the “ADDICTED TO CHRIST” (A2C) Campaign; an anti-addiction campaign against drugs, masturbation, and homosexual attitudes. An effort to draw youth and believers out of adverse addictions which challenge their walk with God.
The A2C campaign runs across secondary and tertiary schools in Ghana and has so far reached over 100 young people with several drug and sexual addictions benefiting from the program.
Also as part of preparations towards August Worship this year, is the official release of Jeshurun Okyere’s hit single ” Satisfy” (Only You) on 1st August.
“This year we seek nothing else but the Presence and Glory of Jesus! Its JESUS at the center of it all” Jeshurun said.
The event once again is Free and slated for 3:00pm on Sunday, 24th August 2014 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
