Chief Executive Officer of Vodafone Ghana, Yolanda Zoleka Cuba, is scheduled to speak at the 4th edition of the Today Annual Lecture this Thursday, 20th July at the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel in Accra.

Yolanda Cuba, who was recently adjudged the Telecom Industry’s Personality of the Year at the GITTA awards, will be sharing her thoughts on the topic, “Using Digital Technology to Accelerate Business Growth’ at the one-day forum organised by Today Newspaper in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications.

This year’s lecture will bring together captains of industry, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, students, development partners, trade unions, communication giants, bankers, security agencies, government appointees, the media and ICT related agencies, to take advantage of the benefits technology offers for business development.

Speaking ahead of the event, Yolanda Cuba said:

“I believe the world will be a better place if we can all employ digital tools in our everyday lives. This is a subject I am very passionate about and I am excited that Today Newspaper has decided to explore this in a much broader way. I look forward to sharing my perspectives on Thursday.”

The event will be chaired by the Board Chairman of the National Communications Authority (NCA), Kwaku Sakyi-Addo. The Minister for Communications, Honourable Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, is the Guest of Honour.

The Today Annual lecture was instituted by the Today Newspaper three years ago as part of its contribution to educate, inform and support the country’s growing democracy as well as educate the public on trending business issues.
