The acting Vice Chancellor of Wisconsin International University College, Ghana Dr. Carlos Arrow has counseled a group of law grandaunts from the school to uphold professionalism.
According him, the profession is governed by ethics and rules that must be respected at all times.
Dr. Arrow said this in speech when the first batch of law students from Wisconsin International University College, Ghana- graduated .
He also tasked the grandaunts to be the new era of legal advisers who will utilize all the legal services to the best of the nation and to stick to the principles of the law service which are integrity, fairness, impartiality.
Giving some advice on career and personal development, Dr. Arrow ugerd the grandaunts to always develop themselves and work hard for success.
“You must utilize all the legal services to the best of the nation and to stick to the principles of the law service which are integrity, fairness, impartiality,” he said.
“Through internships, work placements and industry training provided through the career service center, many of our grandaunts have the opportunity to develop the technical and soft skills needed in world of works,” he added.
The Guest of Honor was Hon Justice Dotse and Prof. Philip Ebow Bondzi-Simpson was the Guest Speaker.
A total of 70students graduated, with 34 coming out with a 2nd class upper and 36 with a 2nd class lower.
The overall best student Miss Mildred Acheampong delivered a speech where she was delighted not only for herself but all her colleagues for making it through this enormous journey.
She attested that they have received a great legal education and this will make then fully prepared for the next stage of their legal training.
