The University of Ghana Business school is charged as Mfantsipim School and St. Peter’s SHS; both two-time NSMQ champions and Kwahu Ridge SHS clash in the eighteenth one-eighth stage of the contest in the National Science & Maths Quiz.

The much-anticipated contest has largely been described as the “Group of Death” with the trio expecting nothing short of a win.

Mfastipim School and St. Peter’s SHS will have to win this contest to keep their hopes of winning the trophy for the third time whilst Kwahu Ridge SHS will be looking forward to making NSMQ history, with this being their first appearance in the National Science & Maths Quiz.

Today marks the 60th anniversary of St. Peter’s SHS and will be looking forward to crowning the celebration with a win whilst Mfantsipim School is an injured lion looking for revenge against St. Peter’s SHS after they denied them the trophy on two different occasions in the finals.

The two losing schools will have to go back to the regionals to fight for a place in the 2018 edition of the NSMQ.

The 2017 edition of the National Science & Maths Quiz is sponsored by the Ghana Education Service through the Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) and supported by Tigo, GOIL, Prudential Life Insurance, Accra College of Medicine and GCB Bank.
