The Chief Justice nominee, Justice Sophia Akuffo spent about 5 hours on Friday [June 16] before Parliament’s Appointments Committee answering questions during her vetting for the position of Chief Justice.
Justice Sophia Akuffo answered questions on the challenges of the country’s legal system, the regulations on touting, the status and relevance of the Ghana Law School, practice of mob justice and external interference of the judiciary.
