Some Ambassador-designates for Ghana’s foreign missions have visited the Northern Region. The trip formed part of a nationwide expedition ahead of their departure to their respective countries.
The visit offered them the opportunity to get acquainted with the development deficit in the Northern Region.
The Northern Regional Minister, Salifu Saeed, lauded the delegation for the visit and described it as extraordinary.
He implored them to woo investors and development partners in their respective countries whose assistance is required to boost government’s development agenda.
A blueprint of the Northern Regional Coordinating Council was presented to them to be advertised to development partners and foreign investors.
It highlighted the region’s topography and some of its economic potentials.
It allayed fears that the region was bedeviled with sporadic conflicts which served as a disincentive to investors.
