The Magistrate Court hearing the trial of the two suspected murderers of the Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North, Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu, today [Thursday] kicked out journalists covering the case from the courtroom.
The Magistrate, Arit Nsemoh, after the entry of the two suspects; Daniel Asiedu and Vincent Bossu, ordered the police officers stationed within the courtroom to prevent all journalists from entering.

No reason was given for the Magistrate’s decision.
The two suspects were arraigned a week ago after a high court discharged them due to a nolle prosequi filed by the Attorney General, and their subsequent re-arrest.
The decision to drop the case was initially met with some backlash from the public until the Attorney General, Gloria Akuffo, clarified that the suspects would be re-arrested after investigations into the case re-opened.
The suspects have been charged with murder and the abetment of murder. The case was adjourned on June 1 because the prosecution said it was waiting for advice from the Attorney General.
Joseph Boakye Danquah-Adu was on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, stabbed to death at his Shiashie residence in Accra.
Two days after his murder, police arrested a first suspect, Daniel Asiedu, who allegedly confessed to committing the crime. Vincent Bossu, was later arrested as having conspired with Aseidu to commit the crime.
