The past week Schalke have been thumped mercilessly, leaving Kevin-Prince despondent.

On Saturday, Bayern beat them 5-1 in the Bundesliga, leaving the Royal Blue with eleven goals conceded in two games.

This was after Real Madrid had destroyed them in the Champions league, 6-1 in midweek.

“I don’t know why Bayern played so well, we were so bad. I’m not alone on the pitch. Of course I try to keep the guys up, but that’s not easy.

Considering that the loss to the European champions was Schalke’s first in the league this year, one can imagine how it hurts the midfielder.

“I don’t have any words for the defeat. It was a horrible day, a horrible week overall.”

Enough said.
