Earlier, Mr Andrew K. Vortia, defense counsel informed the court that the accused persons were on Police inquiry bail and were reporting to the Police.

According to Mr Vortia the decision by the accused to comply with Police order by reporting themselves indicated that they will not abscond when granted bail.

Inspector Judith B Asante who held brief for Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Agnes Boafo narrated that the complainant Destina Tata is an actress residing at Awoshie, Accra.

Prosecutor said Chantel and Kalode are in amorous relationship and are staying together at Sowutuom, Accra.

The complainant is also the former girlfriend of Kalode.

Prosecution said on January 23, this year the accused persons copied pictures of the complainant which she had uploaded on Social Media and photo shopped them with somebody’s nude pictures to create an erroneous impression that the nude pictures are that of the complainant and same was placed on Instagram.

According to prosecution the accused persons also ascribed the complainant’s name to the pictures.
