Mrs. Winnifred Koranteng Dapaah was lucky to win home a brand new Suzuki Alto from MoneyGram’s Freedom to Win promotion.

This is the second batch of customers awarded for their loyalty by the worldwide operating money transfer provider MoneyGram.

Four other customers went home with grill stoves. Earlier this year, MoneyGram launched the “Ghana @ 60 campaign” to reward customers in Ghana receiving international money transfers from family and friends abroad.

The promotion campaign which is expected to run from 28 February to 30 June  2017 will see customers who receive Gh¢1000 or above in their transactions, receive a scratch card, which makes him eligible to win one of the six Suziki Alto cars and other prizes from MoneyGram.

Mrs. Winnifred Koranteng Dapaah, a lecturer at the University of Education Winneba was highly elated and surprised to have won one of the cars.

She said “I was even late that day, my transaction was the very last one they did that day. It was a surprise for me, because I didn’t know that day will be a winning day for me because I just came to do my transaction, and fortunately when I scratched, it was a car.”

The Branch Manager of UBA at Tanoso, where the second batch of awards was held, Mr. Daniel Kofi Boamah congratulated the winner and also encouraged all costumers “to continue to come on board and be part of the promotion, because I learnt there are four (4) other cars available, and so we encourage all our customers to come to UBA because this the branch where the luck begins from.”
