The Member of Parliament for Asutifi North in the Brong Ahafo Region, Joseph Benhazin Dahah, has assured that he will soon open up on allegations of visa fraud leveled against him, and three others by the British  High Commission in Ghana.

“In fact, for now, I would not want to comment on it. At an appropriate time, I will come out with a release for your outfit and the general public to know my involvement in that issue for them to judge whether it constitutes fraud or not. So, for now, we should leave it like that,” he stated.

It would be recalled three sitting MPs and one former MP, were accused of using their diplomatic passports to secure visas for their close relatives to visit the UK on a short term basis, but they continued to live in the country illegally after their visas expired.

The affected MPs have subsequently been banned from entering the United Kingdom for 10 years for alleged visa fraud

They are sitting MPs, Richard Acheampong, Bia East Constituency in the Western Region; Joseph Benhazin Dahah, Asutifi North Constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region; Johnson Kwaku Adu, Ahafo Ano South West in the Ashanti Region; and former MP for Asunafo South in the Brong Ahafo Region, George Boakye.
