The new Central Regional Police Commander, DCOP Rev. Nenyi Ampah Benin, has promised to make the region an uncomfortable place for criminals.
According to him, the Central Regional police service under his watch will pay serious attention to crime prevention.
He said the command is going to embark on strategic swoops periodically to apprehend criminals from their hideouts, while deepening police visibility and education to ward off the activities of criminals in the various communities.
DCOP Ampah Benin also assured the region of professional conduct on the part of his officers so as to deepen public confidence in the police.
He made is known during his first media interaction in Coast Coast since assuming office .
