Donations continue to pour in for Citi FM’s Help a Christmas Child project with the MP-elect for Madina, Boniface Abubakar Saddique and SVOD platform, iflix being among the many donors to the outreach.
Mr. Saddique donated an amount of money to Citi FM’s cause in addition to some cartons of bottled water.
iflix donated cartons of soft drinks and some books for the kids.
A spokesperson for the iflix party, Michael Gyang, said partaking in the Help a Christmas Child project was a worthy medium of for the company to fulfill its corporate social responsibility.
“As part of our corporate social responsibility, we looked around and found Citi FM’s project and decided to be part of it so in supporting the kid, we brought some few items and some cash.”
“Instead of ending the year with parties and fun, it is better we put a smile on these kids’ faces who are less privileged,” Michael Gyang said.
On Boxing Day, the station with help from its listeners, will organise an outreach and party for underprivileged children at Manchie and Korleman, two adjoining communities located in the Ga West Municipality, off the Accra-Nsawam road.
