The Premier League Board (PLB) has announced that the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League (GPL) season would commence on Sunday, December 18.
The PLB said the commencement of the Ghana Premier League, will however be preceded by the season-opening Super Cup between winners of the league and the FA Cup on Sunday, December 4, 2016.
The Super Cup will be played between Premier League champions Wa All Stars and MTN FA Cup winners, Bechem United to determine the “champion of champions”.
Meanwhile registration for the first transfer window of the season will open from November 14- February 13 next year.
