Nestlé Nido rewards customers in ‘back to school’ promo

Nestlé Ghana has rewarded 135 individuals across the country, as part of its Nido back to school promotion.

A total of GHc 157,000 worth of prizes will be provided throughout the promotion.

Through the promotion, Nido is committed to encouraging to individuals and families to win scholarships for their children, during the opening of the school academic year.

To encourage Mums during the opening of the school academic year, The Nido Back to School promotion was launched in September this year.

Using digital platforms, individuals are able to enter the competition by texting a unique code from a coded Nido sachet.

Speaking at an award ceremony held in Accra over the weekend, Category Development Manager for Dairy at Nestlé Ghana, Edwin Amoako said: “Nestlé is committed to encouraging healthy diets and lifestyles.

Nestlé Nido is not only committed to fortifying with micronutrients like Iron and also Vitamin C, but we are also contributing to help mothers see their children succeed, by giving them the right educational foundation. This explains why the scholarship package was introduced this year.”

The ‘Nido back to school promotion’ is being organised under the supervision of the Gaming Commission. Winners will be electronically selected on the basis of the first number with the highest number of accumulated points for the day.

At the end of the promotion period, a panel of judges made up of Text Ghana, Nestlé Ghana and Gaming Commission will select the overall winner based on the highest accumulated points.

The overall first prize winner will take GHC 10,000. The second and third prize winners will take GHC 7,000 and GHC 5,000 respectively.

Similar award ceremonies will be held across the country, ahead of the final grand prize ceremony.
