A charity group ‘clothe the naked outreach’ has donated items worth thousands of Ghana cedis to the Good Shepherd orphanage close to Bawjiase in the Central Region.
Items donated included clothes, books and toys.
The group also feted the children of the orphanage and treated them to good music.
Speaking to Citi News the Executive Director of the group Stephen Kwesi Quainoo said the donation was part of the group’s efforts to provide for the underprivileged in society.
According to him the group has in the past made similar donations to some orphanages.
He added that the the group will continue to provide for the underprivileged in society and called for public support for the numerous charity based projects embarked by the group.
