Members of Rotaract Club of have donated academic materials to pupils of Adaklu Dzakpo DA primary school in the Volta Region.
The donation included exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers among others.
The Club, mostly young adults who are taking actions for positive change, spent better parts of their weekend mentoring the pupils to enhance their academic performance.
Taking turns, the rotaractors shared their growth stories, emphasizing that it’s never been rosy to grow in such environments, but encouraged them to work hard towards academic excellence.
They also interacted with the teachers and parents of the school. Parents and teachers were encouraged to be involved in the development of their wards.
Learning from the growth experiences shared by the rotaractors, some of the pupils declared their resolve to work assiduously at their professional goals which include law and architecture among other career dreams.
The pupils together with their parents and teachers thanked Rotaract Club for the gesture.
