President John Dramani Mahama has donated some outboard motors to fishermen in Axim.
The donation formed part of activities to mark the President’s tour of the region.
President Mahama who launched the NDC’s campaign last Sunday, begun a four-day campaign tour of the same region on Wednesday.
President Mahama further charged electorates in Axim, in the Evalue-Gwira constituency in the Western Region to vote massively to retain the NDC in power arguing that unlike their fierce political opponents the NPP, his party has the good of the nation at heart.
He therefore urged the electorates to reject the NPP in the upcoming December polls. President Mahama was addressing party faithful and Chiefs of Axim, on the first day of his campaign tour of the Western region which begun yesterday.
