With almost a month to the most interactive event on the HR calendar, HR Focus Conference 2016, organisers of the event have said that speakers are poised to give participants a thrilling experience.

HR Focus Conference 2016, scheduled to take place at the World Trade Center on the 23rd September, 2016, will see HR practitioners, Chief Executive Officers and executives coming together under one roof to take part in the HR Forum.

This platform will give decision makers the opportunity to discuss issues affecting the world of work and proffer solutions to these issues. The Career Development Session, which would gather students, job seekers, and young executives, would follow immediately.

The theme for this year’s HR Focus Conference, “Technology Driven HR – People, Processes, Performance, would have industry’s best as speakers including Dr. Esi Ansah, CEO of Axis Human Capital; Rev. Celia Apeagyei-Collins, Founder, Rehoboth Foundation; Dr. Randy Osae-Bediako, CEO, Kharis Group; Mr. Samuel Boafo, HR Director, CAL Bank; and Mrs. Irene Asare – HR, Facilities and Administration Director, Tullow Ghana.

HR Conference

Expounding on the modalities of the event, Ms. Revina Acheampong, Editor-in-Chief of HR Focus Magazine (organisers of HR Focus Conference 2016) stated, “Every year we try to give stakeholders something new and this year is even better. We have added another twist to the Career Development Session, where we will have schools competing against each other in what we have termed the Business Challenge. We invite all schools and those with entrepreneurial mindset to be present as it will be a great learning opportunity.”

Asked if stakeholders should prepare for awards this year, Ms. Acheampong stated, “The HR Focus awards is organised every other year so there will be no awards this year. HR operations and processes take time to reorganise and streamline so we are giving organisations the opportunity to prepare well in order to make next year’s awards more competitive.”

As part of the HR Focus Conference 2016, there will be corporate exhibitions and this will give organisations the opportunity to showcase some of their recruitment processes, products, services.

HR Focus Conference 2016 is proudly sponsored by Ecobank, GGBL, Starlife, L’AINE Services, Citi FM, Airtel, Sky Ville, Vodafone, Websoft, and Awake Mineral Water.
