The Police have begun investigations into what has been described by bankers and security personnel as one of the biggest ATM scams in the history of Ghana.
Citi Business News has learnt the police will soon offload the investigations to Ghana’s Financial Intelligence Centre due to its serious nature.
The move follows the arrest of six Nigerian nationals believed to be members of a syndicate group which has been making huge withdrawals at VISA ATM machines in the country with over 150 ATM cards belonging to bank account holders of different banks mostly in Nigeria.
