The Kparigu Water Expansion Project formed part of the numerous projects the overlord of the Mamprugu traditional area, the Nayiri, requested during one of the President’s visits.

President Mahama said every part of the region will benefit from his transforming lives agenda. He thanked the chiefs and people of the region for the confidence reposed in him and promised to alleviate their plight.

He pleaded with the electorate to ignore the vile propaganda against him and massively vote for him at the 2012 polls.

He earlier cut sod for the construction of a district assembly complex in the West Mamprusi district.

Scores of people flooded the streets of Walewale and Tamale Township, and demonstrated their happiness about his administration’s performance.
