The nominee list for the eleventh edition of the Nigeria Entertainment Awards has been released.
Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and a host of other Ghanaian celebrities have been nominated in six categories.
Mr. Eazi has been nominated in the Promising Act to Watch category while Efya and MzVee also got nominations in the African Female Artist (Non Nigerian/Africa).
Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Bisa Kdei and Shatta Wale were nominated for the African Male Artist (Non Nigerian/Africa) category.
Masterkraft’s ‘Finally,’ in which he featured Sarkodie and Flavour has been nominated for Best Collaboration.
In the movie section, Majid Michel (The Department), Abraham Attah (Beasts of No Nation) Van Vicker (A Long Night) and Chris Attoh (Happiness is a Four Letter Word) were all nominated for the Africa (Non Nigerian) Best Actor category; Ama K. Abebrese (Beasts of No Nation), Nana Mensah (An African City) and Yvonne Okoro (Rebecca) were also nominated for Africa (Non Nigeria) Best Actress.
The final category in which Ghana got a nomination is the Africa (Non Nigeria) Best Picture: Beasts of No Nation, Silverain, House Arrest.
The NEA Awards will be held on September 4, 2016 in New York.
