Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has warned Ghanaians that the country’s fortunes will continue to deteriorate if the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) is maintained after the November 7 polls.

Nana Addo contended that, despite the country being  blessed with ample resources, the poor leadership of the NDC has left citizens in poverty.

We are not a poor country; but because of the bad management and poor leadership of the NDC, we are all suffering. This will change under an NPP government.”

Addressing party supporters at Gomoa during his Central Regional tour, Nana Addo, called on the people of the region to return the NPP to power considering its track record.

Nana Addo also assured that his government will to be committed to serving Ghanaians saying, “when we are in power, we are not going to be lords over you. We are coming to serve you.”

The NPP flagbearer further stated that, he had a team working to address cankers like youth unemployment and poverty in Ghana with solution driven policies.

“We will put in place policies that will create jobs for the youth because it is our desire to help build a better future for all. We have put together a competent team that will help salvage us from the poverty, unemployment, bad polices and above all, bring fulfillment to Ghanaians.”
