Subscribers of Vodafone are up in arms with the telecom provider over their inability to make calls or browse the internet.
The subscribers since yesterday evening have not been able to patronize any of these services.
Business activities have reportedly grounded to a halt following the development.
Some subscribers who spoke to Citi Business News say they have been unable to undertake any activities especially business transactions since yesterday following the halt in services.
The telecom operator however in a press statement apologized for the inconvenience and said it was working round the clock to deal with the matter.
This is not the first time the mobile service provider is going through a similar challenge this year.
A few weeks back its subscribers around the country threatened to abandon the network after weeks of encountering difficulty in loading top up cards from the company and making calls.
Some subscribers tells Citi Business News efforts to get through the mobile giant through their call centre has not yielded any results.
It is unclear whether the company’s call centre is operating currently.
Last week workers at the call centre threatened to abandon their posts over poor conditions of service.
But Vodafone which outsourced the call centre to Teletec a South African BPO company in 2010 to cut down cost told Citi Business News it may temporary take over the centre if the workers go ahead with the strike.
