The Flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, last night left Ghana for France.

In a statement that was signed by Nana Addo’s press secretary, Eugene Arhin, his boss who is on a three day visit to the country “will return to Ghana on Sunday, May 29, 2016.”

The brief statement did not give any reason for the trip.

Nana Addo tours Volta Region

The trip follows Nana Addo’s four-day tour of the Volta Region where he addressed several rallies.

He also within his tour met with some chiefs in the region.

Nana Addo used the opportunity to plead with the people in the region to vote massively for the NPP in the November polls, adding that they will not be neglected when the NPP wins power.
