Medical Doctors at the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have rescinded their decision of embarking on strike with effect from May 23, 2016.

The aggrieved doctors earlier served notice of withdrawing their services over their unpaid fuel allowances.

The hospital management led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Prosper Akambong rapidly responded to the Doctors demand.

He said all the frustrated Doctors were satisfied, hence their decision to call of the planned labour unrest.

As a major referral health facility, the Tamale Teaching Hospital serves the three regions of the north and beyond.

Medical students of the University for Development Studies (UDS) undergo studies there.
