Doctors of the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH) have served notice of their intentions to withdraw their services beginning Monday, May 23, over their unpaid fuel allowances.

By this threat, the management of the hospital led by its CEO Prosper Akambong, is expected to meet the frustrated doctors’ demand to avert the intended labour unrest.

A petition sighted by Citi News revealed that management has failed to fulfill its promise of paying the accumulated arrears after a similar intended strike was suspended on April 20, 2016.
