Citi News sources at the Ledzokuku Krowor Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region have indicated that there is a rift between some members of the Assembly and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE).
The Assembly members are thus reportedly making an attempt to push for the MCE’s removal.
In a letter sighted by Citi News, the aggrieved assembly members have vowed to pass a vote of no confidence in the MCE, Seth Badu Tawiah.
They have also petitioned the Greater Accra Regional Minister, the Chief of Staff, the Local Government Minister and the Greater Accra Regional Coordinating Council in that regard.
The Assembly members are accusing the MCE of being incompetent. They have also accused him of taking unilateral decisions and stalling the development of the Municipality.
