As far as non-job interviews go, Guy Goma’s has still got to be the greatest of all time.
It might have been a decade since the business studies graduate was accidentally interviewed on BBC News but the footage hasn’t lost any of its magic.
The taxi driver had turned up at BBC studios to interview for a job as a Data Support Cleanser.
But instead he was mistaken for tech expert Guy Kewney and quickly rushed on set and asked tough questions about Apple’s court cases with The Beatles record label.
The moment of sheer panic that spreads across his face when he realises what is happening is still priceless.
But not wanting to let anyone down, he does his best to steer his way through the minute-long interview.
Despite not getting the job, the interview turned Guy into a celebrity overnight.
His TV appearances included Have I Got News for You, Friday Night with Johnathan Ross and The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.
He also inspired an episode of The IT Crowd in 2007.
