The rainstorm also uprooted electricity polls at Gbrimani, Kpachiyili and Woribogu Kukuo.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Tolon constituency, Wahab Suhuyini Wumbei during a tour of the affected communities called for the Ministry of Education’s rapid response.

He recalled that a similar disaster in 2014 ripped off the roofs of nine schools in the district and commended the Ministry of Education for the renovation.

He promised to team up with the District Assembly and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) to support the victims.
